Hi people!

I have posted a message about GET INFO on files
few days ago and I see that it caused some
discussion about me, about my english and of course
about GET INFO stuff... I was trying to find out a way
to use the old single window when seeing info of files!

First of all I want to let you know that I really
liked the new separated INFO WINDOW for every file.
It very useful to change icons or to compare file
sizes and other things. But I was only missing a
way to see the INFO on a single window like 10.1!
The two ways are really good!

I know that the first thing I should did was to search on MAC OS
help, but as I said before I used to be a M$ Windows
user... and I guarantee everybody something that many people
have noticed before also, HELPS on M$ WINDOWS OS
are most of the time really useless!

I work with web development here in the university
and we are always discussing what every single internet
user might do when interacting with the university web site.
I project a lot of helps for every system running on the site
always thinking --- "It's easy! in case of any doubts the help
will rescue everybody, they just need to click over there and
read the HOWTO..."

Hahaha... But we know the really nature of human being...
It easiest take a phone and make a call to the support
department... It's funny because even me do that sometimes.
If I had search on MAC OS 10.2 help about GET INFO on
files before start a thread here the things would became lighter for everybody!

Last week I have some trouble on 10.1.5 update,
and I post a message on the forum asking for help!
After few hours of madness I got all my problems solved
just by reading and downloading an update from APPLE to my
old 10.1...(Hey, It was HIDDEN! Believe me!) Hmmm... Now as MAC user I think that I will look on helps seriously before walk around here shooting dumb questions like a blind guy with a gun!

I would like to say thanks to all people that comprehended
my way of english writing on that post, because my born language is portuguese.

Well, see you around, time to work,
listening to Miles Davis all life long, of course.

Akira.

I would like to say that I have lived in the United States for all of my life, and English is my only language. There are English speaking countries that love to go around busting people for their grammar, sentence structure, usage, etc.

Don't get down on yourself. I have never had an issue with the way you post messages. I do laugh when you post something like "I Give It Up" but I'm not making fun of you, I'm just laughing at the translation.

I'm glad that your issues have been corrected.

Whoa!

I draw everything using Photoshop.
Pixel by pixel, in a maximum zoom window.
A lot of patience and jazz playing in the background.

I have other pixel works in my personal page too.

Now with (few) icons for OS X...

In my experience most foreigners speak better English than native English-speakers. Don't worry about it, English is a robust enough language that even if you totally mangle your sentences you'll usually be understood

So true... English (I should say American English) is a catch-all language. Everything has a rule with 3 or 4 exceptions.
