can't catch a break. First two of his top aides quit, and then a campaign co-chair, who also happens to be a Florida State Rep., and anti LGBT, gets busted for offering to perform oral sex on an undercover cop!

A perfect example of: If you surround yourself with losers, you'll end up a loser yourself.

He should have stuck to the independent maverick image of 2000. Now he just comes across as a tool and appeaser with all his war support and support for Jerry Falwell who he at one time called an agent of intolerance.

Allen has been charged with solicitation for prostitution, which has a maximum penalty of one year in jail.
I don't think you should go to jail for doing consensual adult business. Prostitution should be completely legal.

I happen to agree, as long as it's between two consenting adults. What I found ironic is that this clown is one of those bozos who are vocal in their homophobia, yet he allegedly gets caught propositioning a male.

To be precise, he was busted for asking the cop to perform oral sex on him.
I'm sure there's a Bible verse somewhere, or at least an interpretation thereof, that explains why that's perfectly OK while the other is perverse and stoning-worthy.

Yeah. I hear it's pretty common in the McCain campaign.

McCain is toast. He should have ran on Kerry's ticket in 2004, but he's a total Bush shill.

What a f**** idiot. He becomes a Bush shill and angers independents. Then he keeps shilling for Bush on immigration and campaign finance reform and pisses off the conservative base. And liberals won't like him of course for his Bush shilling.

Some of us might have been to say "he lost because he was brave and said things that weren't popular"

But he changed his mind on issues from being an independent maverick into a Bush shill. That's the problem!!

What a moron.

What issues did McCain change his mind on? While I don't agree with the man on some issues, I don't feel that he is a flip-flopper.

Morons are those who think that independent-minded folks can never agree with our President.

Here's one issue that some people consider kind of important, that he's flipped on.

Think Progress McCain Flip-Flops, Supports Immediate Reversal of Roe v. Wade

Here's another;

The Blue State: McCain flip-flops on his support for Rumsfeld

And another;

John McCain flip-flops on ethanol on the Iowa campaign trail - November 13, 2006

He snapped at a reporter when asked about his campaign, saying he's done talking about and isn't going to talk about it anymore, etc. He's a tired old man who's having trouble figuring out what to say to get the most news coverage. His top staff are deserting him and he's run out of money. Stick a fork in him, turn him over; he's done.

Don't forget sucking up to the religious right in 2004 after they went after him in 2000. And of course, sucking up to Bush.

I see he has announced a flip on immigration.

It's too late, I suspect a future flop.

McCain changes course on immigration - Yahoo! News

WASHINGTON - Republican presidential hopeful John McCain on Thursday backed a scaled-down proposal that imposes strict rules to end illegal immigration but doesn't include a path to citizenship.

I'll stick with Romney or Fred Thompson.
