...and make the page jump just as I'm trying to hit a link. This is on iOS Chrome, by the way. It's maddening because sometimes it takes several seconds for the ad to show up, and I've already scrolled down to get at the thread I'm looking for when BLAM, the link I was aiming for is several threads down, and I hit something completely different.

I don't know if others have run into this, but it's a royal pain for me.

I'll pass it on. Loads super-fast here, but that clearly isn't universal.

My Internet connection typically runs at about 20Mbps downstream. It's being slow right now, possibly due to the heavy rain today. Or because it hates me. Whichever...

Well my Internet connection is back up to the 20Mbps rate, but while the ads load quicker, they still produce a delay that makes the screen jump. Less objectionable, but still objectionable.

Today, the predominant ad is from Target. It loads pretty quickly, but it still loads after everything else, so there's still a "jump," though it comes after a much shorter delay.
