I bought Leopard the other day and along with the OS upgrade I think it's a fine time to bump up to 2GB of RAM on my PB. I have 2 questions:
1) Right now I have 1.25GB, the stock 256MB stick that came with my PB and an additional 1GB stick I bought right after I got my PB. I do remember that the 1GB stick had more memory chips on it than the 256MB stick, but that there was still room in the memory bay to fit both. However, if I buy an additional 1GB stick, will I run into issues of the two sticks interfering with each other if they have memory chips on both sides? Do I need to find a stick of RAM specifically with memory chips on one side only?
2) Do they make 2GB PC2700 SO-DIMMS, and if so can I install those on my PB for a total of 3 (or 4, if I buy two) GB of total RAM? Or is there some limitation with the PB hardware that limits it to using 1GB SO-DIMMs?
