I like the idea, but what sucker is going to use it?

I should build a site an offer a dime for each song you enter...

I'm of the opinion it's a scam.

Sorry, but my gut instinct says it is.

The same group also promotes putting stickers on merchandice in stores. Without authorization from the store owner. That's vandalism (and not very bright that you can whois their domain and get their address).

People who endorse and encourage illegal activities normally aren't very reputable.

I'd be very cautious.

If you like the idea... why not just buy an an independant song off of iTunes yourself? That way your "recycling" yourself. And you know it will happen.

Sorry, I just don't believe criminals.

There's nothing to their service. One could just post them on a forum such as this for people to use, or give to a friend.

I'd bet, they will take the serial #'s, and just sell them on ebay.

Besides, anyone read the Terms of Service for the promotion?

Among othe things they violate:
Maximum number of valid Codes per email address/person that can be entered at the Web Site is 10 per day and 200 total throughout the Promotion Period.
Leaving me to believe... it's a hoax. Just someone trying to make a quick buck.

No means, method, no reputation. It's a hoax.

I've been following them for a while.

Nothing on their site looks legitimate as my post said.

Seems like yet another group trying to scam a few.

even if it were real, it's stupid. Why not list a bunch indie albums. At least the artist not only get the money but they'll also get a chance to be discovered.
