well im a gamer, and there is now way for me to quit, i want to play all my games, which are pc based. a friend and owner of 5 or 6 ibooks told me about a cool thing called boot camp. i was eager, before learning of the need to have my own copy of windows xp. but i was in luck i had a copy of xp home edition with sp1. i have learned i need sp2, without buying a 200$ copy of xp with sp2 is there anyother option? can i download the sp or whats the deaL?

Well if you put it in the right forum, http://forums.macnn.com/alternative-operating-systems/ you'd see a sticky called, http://forums.macnn.com/104/alternat...eaming-xp-sp2/ . That sticky tells you how to turn that version of SP1 into SP2. Good Luck.

Don't know about vBeso's changable habits, but I CAN move this to the right forum...or as is more appropriate (since wake266 already has the same thread in the Alternative Operating Systems forum), close this one.
