it would make my life easier if i could just take my macbook back to the apple store where i got it. Don't ask why. I didnt get apple care, its probably within 90 days. THe computer isnt malfunctioning or any thing. Can i get my money back? if not, what can i get for it on ebay(i would include a nice printer and the lastest microsoft office installed. It is a someber note that i must rid my self of my would-be best friend. Thank you.

Are you trying to get rid of it or upgrade it?
You posted another thread within minutes of this one asking about how to upgrade the disc in your MacBook.

There's no way you can get your money back unless there's a serious manufacturing defect. Rules apply to anything you buy exceeding more than 30 days unless specified.

The 90 day thing is for TELEPHONE support. Hardware support is one full year on computers.

However, I agree with the other posters that you probably cannot return a non-defective computer to the Apple Store for a refund.

Why are you so interested in getting rid of the MacBook?

why do you need a larger hard drive? my 60gb is more than adequate for OS X and XP to coexist...

He might have a lot of photos, music, etc..

an external drive seems to be a better solution to store photos/media unless, of course, he needs those files for work

You have 14 days to return the computer... no questions asked (with a restocking fee).

Beyond that... you can't return the computer without a manufacturing error.

Don't cross-post wake266. You have an answer in the Alternative OS forum.
