We might make paninis. Watch a little tv, then retire for the night. I’ve seen enough balls drop in Times Square in my lifetime. I don’t really care if I see another.

We stayed in, of course. We had a light supper and saw in the new year with St. John’s Newfoundland. Since we both worked on the first, we weren’t really interested in any sort of partying anyway. It was sure nice to be snug at home, though; a front came through and the temperature plummeted from lows in the upper 50s to lows in the low 30s.

Hah. We watched Michael Clayton (!!!!!!) and then rang in the New Year with Snoop Dogg’s bonkers live stream show. This is the 2020 way.

Also—highly recommend you visit when the pandemic’s over, if you haven’t already. Newfoundland’s a beautiful place and St. John’s is a great town.
