Is there any chance Apple will change the iMac design or bump them up somehow at the Paris Mac Expo? Or is this just wishful thinking?

Wishful thinking. Apple doesn't do major redesigns so close together. Expect a new iMac design sometime next year.

It takes Apple at least five months to revise a product. Except it in October, at the earliest. Though it doesn't seem likely. The Rev. A iMac G5 was on the market for eight months.
