I was wondering if there was a way to force a window in OSX to stay in front? For example if I am watching a movie in Quicktime or iTunes is there a way to force the window to stay in front so when I work on other things the movie doesn't get pushed to the back?

NicePlayer, and, I think, VLC have options to always be in front, and are great video players.

That's something the developer of an app has to enable. I'm not sure whether there is third-party software that can do that for you. I usually sort windows manually …
