I am syncing my 3G iphone with mobile me using push sync. Does anyone know if there is a way to change the default calendar on the iphone?

When I add a Calendar entry on my phone it defaults to an obscure calendar I rarely use. I can't figure out why it defaults to this calendar. I know I can change it manually but it is a pain to do so each time.

Yes. It's under "Settings". Click on "Mail, Contact, Calendars" and scroll down near the bottom of the page to the "Calendar" pane. It's the bottom entry: "Default Calendar".
