I know this is actually still Firefox 3.5.7, but this is the first impression that Mozilla gives me of Firefox 3.6.

How hard can it actually be to align some text and buttons, and have some visually pleasing amount of white space? Stuff like this really ruins the perceived quality of a product. The claim "Get the best browser of the world" sounds like a joke in this context.

I've been using Chrome. First thing that happened when I started the new FF was my fans going to the max, as they now always do with FF. FF has become a bloated beast just like Netscape used to be. I'm sticking with Chrome and Safari (which has it's own problems).

New tab opening has defaulted to Chrome's retarded behavior. Immediately found and set browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent to false.

Some issues with loading OpenLayers on my site, but it's spotty and probably a bug in our OL stuff.

No significant CPU usage or fan activity while the browser is open.

It would be nice of Google to bring Chrome to Power Mac world, but we know that won't happen. I'd give it a chance if it would.

Biggest improvement on the Mac is the text rendering. It also seems slightly more Mac-like in the feel, but it's minor. Really a very small update.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

When you're right, you're right! And that's most all of the time.
