I doubt it very highly that Michael Jackson had anything resembling a Flu, or Gasteroenteritis. He would have been unable to wave to anyone from the hospital, and would have been bed ridden, or rather bathroom ridden for the 24 hours minimum. Instead it was an obvious ploy on his part as he exited the hospital that day.. secretly.

Testing the waters for a race to go on the lamb maybe?

I don't know about anyone else in these forums, but I will speak from personal experience. When I had a 'Flu' I could barely get out of bed, let alone be as animated as MJ. The 'Stomach Flu'? Vomitting, Fever, etc...

I'm not arguing whether MJ had it or not, but rather the existence of the "stomach flu." Your own link says that most people refer to this illness as such:
Almost everyone has had, or will have, what most of us refer to as stomach flu. The technical term for this is "gastroenteritis"...

Uhm... it still doesn't make it "THE FLU"... it is nothing like the flu, and what I am stating so poorly, is that if he actually had what they refer to as the "Stomach Flu" then he would have been WRETCHING ALL FCUKING NIGHT LONG. Had he the 'Flu' , he would neither be wretching or at the toilet, just in bed with a bad fever.... My God, doesn't anyone have a clue?

The so-called "Stomach Flu" has nothing to do with the flu, in fact it is much worse symptomatically. Gasteroenteritis is a fowl and indignant problem which only lasts 24 hours at most but has the most severe of symptoms.

I call Bull-shat on him. That is what I was saying.

I've heard that there is no such thing as "stomach flu." There is Norwalk virus or similar Noro viruses, but no "stomach flu."

I think the MJ thinks he can just go to a hospital, check in, then not show up for court because he thinks his health is more important than showing up.

From a sociological sense, it's quite interesting, the demise of an icon and the reaction to it. Also, however insignificant he might be in the overall scheme of history. One day, there will be a pop culture history class that will look into this character that was once MJ. and the laughs will continue to the end of time.

Actually, you're wrong: Even more pathetic is a person posting to a thread that they say is even more pathetic than Michael Jackson.

Los Angeles Times, 10 March 2005
Snuggling under the covers, he said he turned down Jackson's offer to teach him masturbation. It was an important skill, Jackson insisted, claiming that he once saw a boy who didn't masturbate having sex with a dog.

In his testimony, he did not indicate resisting when Jackson allegedly slid his hand into his pajamas and stroked him into orgasm. Although he said he felt "weird" afterward, he described the same thing happening with Jackson a day or two later.

In the second alleged incident, he said Jackson grabbed his hand and tried to guide it to Jackson's crotch.

"I said I didn't want to," the boy told the jury, and, he said, Jackson did not attempt to force the issue. He said he could remember no other incidents of inappropriate touching.
After reading the above, I'd say that, yes, Jackson is a freak.

Jackson is acting like a f*cking 10 year old. He pretends to be sick in an attempt to avoid going to court like a kid pretends to be sick to avoid going to school.

Lock him up. Give him no slack. Let the convicts have a field day with him.

I thought exactly the same thing about MJ acting like the petulant schoolboy.

Okay...then why did you post again if this thread blows?

(Have a good day, though!)

read it:
Accuser's testimony

You know I am starting to think Jackson created Neverland Ranch for the primary purpose of seducing young boys.

Have to wonder about the parents, though.

"Mom, can I spend the night with Michael Jackson?"
"Sure, son"

WOW.

You know, you might be onto something: Creating Neverland to seduce young boys.

What a concept!

Even if he did is subconsciously, you know?

Good point!

There is certainly something wrong with parents who let their children go to play with Michael Jackson. Whether he's guilty of not, there mere possibility of such guilt would be enough for me to keep my children away from him.

Yeah, that's true.

But, you have to admit, MJ did nothing to help himself. He went through this before, remember? Any SANE person would not have put himself into the same situation where he could POSSIBLY be accused of the same behavior.

And then he went on record with that interview where he actually said that he did not see anything wrong with sleeping with boys, remember?

I honestly think that the guy MAY have done these things he's accused of.

No doubt. Just that, for all the same reasons, one must also question the motives of parents who continue to allow their children to spend time with Jackson.

It isn't just his past legal history I would be weary of, just look at him. He obviously has deep psychological, self-esteem issues to disfigure himself in that way. It borders on self-mutalation. That would be a huge warning sign to me. You'd think any parent would recognize that. Is celebrity that blinding?
