It's happening on my PM8500 that I upgraded tonight. The really funny thing is that this dialog box that pops up at startup is totally bogus. It claims that neither TCP/IP nor OT is installed, but everythting starts up just fine and runs without a hitch. Wierd, and functionally irrelevant, but it is there.

I had the same problem (see <tt>&lt;[email protected]&gt;</tt>). Eventually turned out to be a bad TCP/IP configuration; re-creating it worked.

So check that, check your ARA configs, and maybe even your AppleTalk configs.

My configurations get corrupted every few months, although never like this.
