I am re-posting my previous question, since the topic may have been a bit obscure:
I am able to consistently reproduce this "feature" and am curious if anyone else is experiencing it. I leave my PowerBook G3 Series 292MHz powered up 24 hours/day. I have the Energy Saver set to never sleep and to dim the video rather than turn it off when the PBook is on the Power Adapter. At night, I dim the screen with the hardware button. This is where it gets interesting. When I'm ready to use the PB next day, all I have to do is tap the touchpad and the screen returns to full brightness. This had never occurred under any previous MacOS. Can anyone else reproduce this?
