OK, I have this tune in my head. I can't remember WHO did it.
It's NOT:
Stray Cats
Rocket 88
Fabulous Thunderbirds
Nick Lowe
Haircut 100

Well, being old, and senile, I just can't remember any of the other rockabilly bands.
Any other suggestions of 1980's Rockabilly bands?
The music was overproduced, and the vocalist was a tenor or higher. It had a doowop sound to it. One tune I remember was (I think) "Stand Tall" or something like that.

42- Duh.

But seriously- he just happened to have one of my favorite songs stuck in his head. If you've heard the song you would have to realise that while I loves me the ladies I must be at least 4-7% gay.

I like Burning Flame by Vitamin Z as well. Maybe -it's 9-13%.

ELO and Dave Edmunds are rockabilly also.
All men are created equal, but what they do after that point puts them on a sliding scale.
