There have been allot of Frequently Asked Questions that we just beat to death over and over again once someone starts a thread maybe we should have an FAQ sticky for this forum for Frequently Asked Questions? Than maybe we should have a list of FAQ's and poll for answers because some of them can be opinionated

I will even take the responsibility of maintaining it, provided "bleee" does not want to.

Should we post what questions we should ask? I'll start...

Which one should I get, the 12" screen or the 14" screen?
Is OSX fast on the iBook?
How is OSX with 10.2 run on the iBook 700 compared with 10.1?

Good idea.....

How much ram do I need, and how will it affect the preformance?
How do I clean the iBook screen?
When is the next upgrade due?

There are more.

When is the G4 iBook coming out and should I wait?

We don't know - it'll require a redesign when it does.

It's a matter for the individual - if you buy it now you'll actually have a splendid & capable computer.

Ironicly a lot of the posts here are typical FAQ and newbie threads..

But I do agree.. We just have to make sure we have good and accessable pointers for the "FAQ" at "our" iBook forum page. Perhaps a task for the macnn staff?

I'll be glad to help. My english isn't rock steady but..

That is a great idea! A couple more to add:

Which bag should I get to carry my iBook?
How do I upgrade my iBook?

Let me know how I can help maintain this.

Once the FAQ thread gets stickied, all that remains is to search out the threads containing the best answers to the questions and link them.

Hello,

I agree, a FAQ is a great idea! I've only been reading this forum for a few months now and I've only had an iBook for roughly the same amount of time and I see the same questions popping up day after day after day. And, surprisingly enough, the answers are usually the same.

However, if we post a sticky FAQ that would probably drop the number of posts in half.
