Where can I get this enhaced trackpad driver? It's not avilable thru versiontracker and macupdate because the developer site is shut down (since several weeks).

Sure! There are only about 4 hits and they all point (more or less directly) to the same source: A .MAC homepage which is down/nonexistant.
For those who are not familiar with BetterTrackpad: It's an alternative trackpad driver for PowerBooks and iBooks with the goal to replace the sluggish accelleration curve of OS X with something that more resembles OS 9 behavior.
