Is there a way to improve visibility on the lcd when the iBook is outside in the sun? Anyone know of any devices you can buy? Also is the Aluminum PowerBooks screen better than the iBook screen in the sun or are they pretty much the same in terms of visibility?

There are hoods available to block out the sun when using a laptop outdoors. I can't for the life of me remember who makes them, unfortunately

Basically, all laptops (and PDA's without reflective screens) are hard to view in sunlight. This is because the ambient light is brighter than the screen's brightness.
