I know with the iSight you can take pictures however I am wondering if you can take videos with the iSight? Is there a program you can use?

Yes you can. I use Evocam. Great app.

I believe you can use iMovie to record iSight directly as well.

I dont feel like paying $30 for EvoCam and I cant seem to figure out how to use iMovie to record from the iSight. Is there any free program?

GCam seems to do it, but I've never tried it.

What version of iMovie do you have?

Use iMovie 6.0 and refer to page 41 of the MacBook User's Guide for capturing video with the built in iSight camera. Have fun!
