search versiontracker.com or download.com I know I have seen apps that do this, but I don't have an iPod so I can't remember their names off the top of my head.

Podworks

Trial is limited to 250 songs. Full version only costs around $8. Well worth it.

I know there's a cheapo script out there that lets you do this. I think it's called iPody? I can't remember. But it's free and there are no restrictions and it does it's job reliably well. So if that $8 dollars is too high, do some searching on the web.

[edit] Yup, iPody.

There is also a program called iPodRip, that has been very good for me. Good UI, good operation, etc. Give it a try!
