Jimmac has the Gorilla icons available as 128x128 pngs on his website. Although it would be a time-consuming task, they could be converted easily with The Icon Factory's IconBuilder Pro.

With the appropriate permissions, it could become a reality

Well I did this and not all of the icons are useful and BTW I want not just a port I would like to see a set to go with CandyBar. That's the reason I started another thread before this one...

Then you just need to take the icons you just made and import them to Candybar like you want and then save as an icontainer.....

I've done these for myself and can easily whip up an icontainer for you.

I'm not really interested in tracking down the original author for permission.

If you want to do the legwork on permissions, I'll gladly upload them wherever.

To port them yourself do this.........

Download the 1.3.5 Gorilla set, take out the 128x128 folder and run the entire folder through pic2icon open IconBox (if you don't have it download it) Do a deep folder import of the folder you just ran through pic2icon, once the import finishes, select all (command+a) and under File menu export to .icns format, then run THAT folder through pic2icon and you are done.

Should take you 5-10 minutes, at the most.

They can be used in any app, copy/paste, CandyBar, anything.

You can also directly import XP (.ico) format and export to .icns with IconBox without any fudging of the icon.

These are part of the GPL so permissions won't be required. Author credit would be customary.

Well, I figure with the above instructions, they should have no problem doing it on their own.

i'd do it myself but well... a) if its already done i'd gladly take advantage of the package, if you'd be willing to distribute it (it's GPL-ed artwork) and it's screaming to be turned into a candybar package and b) there's only 24 hours in a day dammit =(

I know how this thing is working but there are so many icons missing to set up an icontainer as a system replacement...and that is exactly the point I am talking about!
