Great job on this theme emulation.

Now, it would be great if someone could post an edited version of LaunchBar with a blue background menu icon, like Fluid's screenshot has displayed. If I knew which file within LaunchBar's resources was the menu item icon, I could edit it myself.

Agreed. I don't like brushed either. It just seems so dated now anyways.

And BlackDogs is going to be more refined... i know your was just a slap together, see what i have done version.. Nothing wrong with that, but i think most of us in the thread are looking for more than that to be modified. No hurt feelings, ya dig?

BTW: Nice design work you do and i like the site too..

For the life me..... I have spent the whole day trying to mod launchbar, as in fluids screenshot. There is just NO way to have it sit in the menu bar.

In fluids screenshot in the screenshots thread, he claims he has modded launchbar to sit as an endcap like in tiger on the right side of the finder bar.

I have tried for hours to unsucessfully do this

I've got Tiger Preview. If anyone needs JPGs of resources let me know. I know nothing about theming so I don't know what you would need or where it is.

I believe that in the old version of LaunchBar the icon did 'sit' in the menu bar. The new beta versions are different though, and there is no icon to my knowledge.

Eh. I use Quicksilver now anyways.

AAHHH, thanks for the heads up.

Ok, so I pretty much got it. Now heres the deal, the icon will only cover so much of the menu bar. What needs to happen is that the theme needs to have the last 70 or so pixels on the right, be blue, so to give the appearance that it is the icon in tiger.

After the that, a simple mod of some of the resources in the version 3 of launchbar, and we have a gui that looks just like tiger.

Great theme, but what about changing the highlight color to the lighter blue you are using in the menu bar?

The updates are great. Nice to see a collaboration working out so well.

It would be really helpful if you would spell out what's changed with each of your updates. How is the 5:41 p.m. update different than the 7:17 a.m. update, for instance.

They're small downloads, but now I have to wait 'til I get home from work to learn what's up.

Thanks.

Looking good guys.. It seems that you two have really made progress on this theme!! Are there plans for a no-brushed metal variation in the future? What about the menu highlight color? Are you guys going to lighten the shade of blue used?

Thanks for the hard work and great efforts!

The theme is very beautifully designed. Thanks a lot. Personal wishes for a next update are the following:

Brushed metal in the new lighter grey look
a graphite version
no stripes (in menues)

Sorry for the list, but as I can't theme myself I have to ask you for this favour.

Thanks again and I look forward to future updates!!

To use the other windows on the finder use demetalifizer from unsanity.org.

It gets rid of the metal look for the mean time.

are menu highlights to match the blue apple? I guess i haven't looked at tiger that closely. Also blackdog made buttons. they may have been for fun and not matching Tiger buttons.

Does anyone have a screenshot of this in action? I would much like some functionality on my "spotlight"-area as well.

I (and others) are really enjoying this theme, and it's frequent updates, but could you please post what changes are made in each version and perhaps a screenshot?

I really think this will increase intrest in this theme.

(this is just a serving suggestion)
Thanks.
