Hey, I remember seeing an interesting desktop with Master Chief holding an assault rifle in the wallpaper thread once. Hes facing to the left, and its kind of a close up on his shoulders and face. It has a very artsy style, with an interesting kind of technique used. If anyone can point me in the direction where I would be able to find it, thatd be great.

Um did you ever try to search around Bungie.net? *sigh*.....people these days.

Also on my site if anyone is interested it has lots of Halo stuff....

Here is the Wallpapers, it has several with that style. http://www.bungie.net/Games/Halo/gal...llpaper&page=1

And here is your imagehttp://www.bungie.net/images/games/h...chief_1280.jpg

All it is imo is a Gaussian blue with hue/saturation to a color.

That sounds very much like the Halo art done by Craig Mullins (the guy behind art used for Marathon). It wouldn't happen to be any of these images - http://nikon.bungie.org/misc/artofcraigmullins.html - would it?
