Hi guys...
I just updated my RAM from 112MB to 368MB (meaning I added 256MB) and wanted to create a RAM-drive for some files.
But, unfortunately it's practically not possible, due to the fact that the option to save the content of the RAM-drive upon shutdown isn't available. I have no idea why, but I realized it was never available on this Mac, it's an upgraded PowerMac 7300 running Mac OS 9.1
It is availably on my PowerBook running OS 8.6 though, did Apple take this out somewhen between 8.6 and 9.1? I would really appreciate any help, because I've experienced that running Mozilla from this RAM-drive really gives it an amazing boost.

Only certain computers support saving the RAM disk on shutdown.

Aaah, thanks a lot. That actually cleared things up, now I know it's just not possible.

'Jon's Ram Disk', or something like that, may work. Do a search.
