Where/how have you bought/made more of the little rubber feet for the bottom of your TiBook? Because they like to go away... :o

If your powerbook is still under warranty, just call Apple and they'll Fed Ex a new strip of them. I finally lost one from my 2 1/2 year-old Pismo, still under AppleCare, and got a new strip of 5 rubber feet from Apple the next day.

They may complain that the feet are "cosmetic" and not covered, just complain enough (and mention that the warranty does not explicitly exclude the casing, and that the feet are not cosmetic, but functional).

Probably depends upon the mood of the customer service rep - I've never had any problem getting legitimate things replaced. I had Apple Fed Ex a new battery for my Pismo this summer, with only cursory questions (to determine that I wasn't a moron with a perfectly good battery!), and to replace the rubber feet, they just asked how many were missing. No hassle - they sent them overnight!

If you get resistance, it helps to mention that forums such as this one give numerous testimonials of Apple replacing these under warranty.

I was able to pick up 4 new rubber feet (for free) at an Apple Store... If you have one nearby, give it a shot.

I called apple and got some new ones sent for free. They also came off a few weeks later. The glue that holds them on just melts away with the heat of the machine.

Update: I picked up some rubber feet at Home Depot for about 3 bucks for 20 or so of them. They're a little taller than the OEM ones but seem to work well. You can also get felt feet at Home Depot (but you can't get your feet felt--what's up with that? )
