The iMac looks just fine. included screen and all. if you want a 'headless' iMac, get a PowerMac. Or you should have baught yourself a cube when it was available....cast your vote with your $$$ not with your whining.
If anything, the white space could be minimized bu making the enclosure thicker. But at the same time speaker interference could be a problem for the screen. Apart from that the design is amazing.

That's what I was thinking.
Also it would look way better mounted on a wall.

If they enable a touch screen mod on that thing it could sell well in pricey boutique style stores. Wall mounted in-store touch screen catalogs are pretty cool.

I don't think there is enough white space. I'd buy one in a second if it looked like this:

ummm.... just so you know. when i said 'thicker' i meant in terms of 'thickness' of the computer not the border around the screen. so instead of having it 2" thick, they could make it 3" and maybe make the white space under the screen disappear.
Cheers.

Looks to me like a slide.
Somehow, I could imagine Apple making a really thin type of LCD gadget that we can use WiFi to stream images to it ~ something like a iPhoto-frame thingy.

As long as it comes with free magic markers.
I wonder if those white-board markers work on (& more importantly rub off) the iMac.
