Welcome to the club!

I'm using the theme full time and ****ing LOVE IT!

I've noticed that inactive scrollbar is still original Aqua, not the new FCP scrollbar.

I want to like it, but the scrollbar seems out of place from the rest of the theme.. almost garish, yet fuzzy. Weird.

Dace, I didnt embed them because most of the elements in the DVD SP2 interface are still floating aside from the push buttons and popups so I figured I would make them feel as close to the current Aqua versions as possible while fitting in with the theme. I will experiment with recessed ones for my version though.

Here is a quick shot of my variant, here the only things changed so far are the titlebar, menubar and all of the ppat hues have been increased by 25% saturation. The scrolls are unchanged in this shot but will be next.

swiz...
your variant is the one i am waiting for...near-perfect (and how many things in life are near-perfect?? )

one thought...translucent menus? this is one of my favorite things, and everyone is blown away when they see it...

either way, it looks great.

(and if i have to, i'll do the menus for myself )

keep up the great work!

what do icons of folders, etc, look like in the Pro apps?

i'm guessing they're a mix between X and OS 9 styles..

How about embedded title bar buttons? Have you tried a flat color for the titlebar?

Hmmm the title bar doesn't match the scroll bars now... It's too dark.

Iconbuilder Pro (photoshop plugin) is supposed to import XP icons but I get an error every time. I just use Axialis Iconworkshop on a PC and export the png files to mac and make them there......

Im actually working with that right now. What do you folks think about the Apple menu playing off the green of the progress bars. Not in terms of barber pole stripes or anything, just color relation...? Any other suave ideas for the Apple menu?

i'd like to ask everybody that can to give swiz a little pat on the back with a paypal donation.. just 'cause he's doing such kickass work.

i'll be doing the donation thing after i get the idea approved by The Commitee (read: my wife).

This is one of the nicest themes I've ever seen; I think Max and Swiz are on the same level and I hope their 'friendly competition' will push theming even further from here on in.

after hours of futile arguement, you will STILL be sleeping on the couch because you asked if you could send money to someone online and argued about it.

I JUST finished the sunken widgets. I agreed with Adam that they needed a little finessing so my finessing turned into a compulsive disorder which lasted the last three days. My head hurts...
Now onto the scroll bar

I dunno what I think of the scrollbars yet (my first impression is that the square-ishness doensn't match the rest of the theme), but I can say that those widgets are gorgeous, and match the rest of the theme perfectly.

Keep up the excellent work!

[edit]: BTW swiz, are you going to change the radio buttons and checkboxes to a sunken look? I mean, that right there would make everything nice and just right.

Yes the radios and checks will be recessed. Glad the scrolls are liked by most, I think those who arent too sure about them will like them when they use them. I still plan to make some rounded version in this style to test.

Lovely theme!

I think the resize widget needs a new recessed look, something more organic than it is now...
