@ARENA: You can find the Orbital icons at DeviantArt.
They are in XP-format though.

Most definitely. (Except that I didn't install the Finder.rscs, because I actually like the metal Finder and its plastic buttons.) Actually, I don't even really see the need for SmoothStripes now... Though I assume some people would kill me for ever suggesting that.

Thread started by a philistine, what do you
expect. There is also a spelling amnesty in
operation on this forum.

Yeah, I know Max consilidated alot of stuff in AE to SS so Im sure the differences are very minimal now. They both rock though.

Thanks Swiz, I appreciate it
The big difference would be the Gloss themes.

That's why I mentioned it was 'close but no
cigar', I am assuming someone added the
'landscape' later. Probably cmove hacked the
extras and that's why he didn't give the right
name or any more info - but I am just guessing...

For Non Sequitur and Calvin and Hobbes, open iComic and go to Subscriptions in the file menu under iComic. This will take you to a web page. Scroll all the way down and grab Ucomics Favorites. Once you have downloaded the subscription, break open the package contents and delete the subscriptions you don't want.

The virtual desktop software is Desktop Manager , it is really fast and quite nice. The search software in the menu is part of Another Launcher

Another launcher takes a couple of minutes to set up but has become something I would have a hard time giving up. It is a bit like Snard, except more.

Those are nice little apps. I'm loving Another Launcher! One thing, is there any way to get it to automatically search through more than just the applications when I do an "enter abbreviation"? Like, searching through documents and stuff like that?

I hope you aren't talking about Bombia's because he modded the theme, changed icons, and the wallpaper. Sounds like he customized enough to be "worthy" of this thread.

PS: Bombia, please share that iPod icon.

Hi

I see that you have converted the Amaranth icons from Linux to osx. What software did you use?

Thanks for any advice.

The Amaranth Icons can be had in .png format at 128 pixels from http://www.kdelook.org/content/show.php?content=7279

Then I used Pic2icon from versiontracker.com to batch convert them to Mac icons...its very easy.

I just checked and they are in fact 128 pixel .png files.

One small problem though. The creator of the icon set stopped using the .png image format for the 128x128 icons. I was only able to download the 128x sizes in the .svg format that doesnt work with pic2icon.

So my question is if you could please send them in .png format to my email address [email protected] if you can find the time.

It would be much apreciated

You are right, thanks

Btw, do you know anything about the .svg icon format? It opened up in illustrator and was completely scalable.

Yep, thats exactly what it is....Scalable Vector Graphic. Any master files made in Illustrator should be saved in that format as well as .ai

There aren't any. I started to do some for Mac with hermiks permission but I abandoned that project. I did convert the 64's though. Here's where I left off.
