How do I filter audio to sound like someone talking on the phone? I have Sound Studio and Final Cut Pro, but I'm not sure how do get this done...

turn the low and hi EQ's off and turn up the mids until you get a sound you like. a multiband or parametric EQ will do the job better. hope this helps.

A number of Applications have this built in. Notably, the t-racks mastering application
as well as some other apps like the Bias SFX Machine and a few others that escape my
mind at the moment.
