I've tried to find details in iMac reviews regarding PPC game performance on Intel. Obviously Doom isn't going to run, but what about older games? If my 1Ghz powerbook can run it modestly well, can an intel iMac?

Let me know if you've had or heard of anyone's experience in this area.

Specifically I'm wondering about Tiger Woods 2003 in case someone wants to try it.

Thanks!

I have Tiger Woods 2003 and a 17" iMac core duo and it runs just fine. I turned up the settings to max and it runs great.

On my iMac DC 2ghz, Call of Duty runs better with 512 megs of RAM than it did on my Powerbook G4 1.33 with 1.25 gigs of RAM. Full screen (wide aspect), details up. Not too bad. Very little jerkiness in SP mode. I haven't had a chance to try out MP yet. But I'm *very* impressed.
