wait, what do you mean by screens? do you mean an external screen such as a monitor? samsung and dell's are pretty good. but i like this one.

but if you want something bigger and better for around the same price i think this is def. worth forking out the extra 50

I would personally go with a widescreen monitor that would be around the same resolution you use on the macbook. I have a samsung 17" and 42". have never had a single problem with either.

The Dell e207fwp can be had on http://dell.com for around 250 usually, and has served me well. It is a 20" wide screen with a 1680x1050 resolution. OSX looks lovely on it. Keep in mind that this is a 6-bit panel, so if you are obsessed with color accuracy, it isn't the best choice. It has been perfect for my consumer level needs.

Newegg has two acer monitors: a 19 for under 200 and a 22 for under 300. They both look like excellent monitors. Fast enough response time so you wont see ghosting.

The 22: Newegg.com - Acer AL2223Wd Black-Silver 22" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 800:1 Built in Speakers - Retail
it is 259.99. If you wait, you can catch it with free shipping.

I want to note that if you get a 19 inch lcd, dont go above ~215. The prices have fallen quite a bit on lcd's.

The acer provdes size, quality, and an affordable price.
