Hello. I'm trying to convert a wav file to mp3, and when I convert it, i get an almost choppy/clicking type sound at regular 1-2sec intervals.. I've used EasyWMA and iTunes to attempt the conversion, and I receive the same results. Could this be due to the codec that is installed?
I'm using 10.4.9 - all the latest updates
macbook 2ghz
2gb ram
thanks.

You could try Audacity and see if that does any better. It is free.

Yes, iTunes can convert wav to mp3, AAC, Apple Lossless or AIFF.
