$25 for a PB 5300cs, bag, CDROM, Zip Drive (I dunno what to do with this).
To contain the fire/explosion jokes, the battery is a very safe NiMH.

Any recommendations? I'm waiting on an ethernet card for it, but, if all else were to fail, I may turn it into a Digital Picture Frame

I had bought a Duo 2300c complete with DuoDock and monitor off eBay once. For a while it was my favorite machine not counting my then current iMac DV+. But it was slow and not very useful. It was mainly good to look at. I wanted to do something with it one day since it was colorful and perfect. But eventually ended up selling it again on eBay for significantly less than what I paid at the time.

Since then I've become monogamous with computers. One computer. One set of files. No having to figure out are my files on this computer or that one. Any second computers I use are mainly to perform a task. Not be one of my main machines.

I had one of those, years ago. The ethernet card needs to be a PCMCIA card, it will run System 9.1 and take a the astronomical amount of 64 megs of ram on two 32 meg chips, some of the most obscure chips ever made...! Picture frame seems like a great idea!

That was my first Mac! I loved it a ton. Sadly, it died last year. I still got it in my closet. Just be really careful with the AC adaptor where it plugs into the PowerBook. That connector inside the PowerBook likes to flake and not let it charge.
