Cleveland's 3rd base coach is going to be out of a job if Cleveland doesn't pull this off.

Such a bonehead move holding him at base

Granted the RS still have the lead but a 2 run advantage is far less demoralizing than 3

All they had to do was win one more
Instead they got outscored 30 -5 this week

edit:
forgot to add about the people climbing up on crosswalk signals and crowd surfing.

WOOO HOOOOO

RED SOX WIN the PENNANT, on to the World Series.

I wonder if the HGH story that broke earlier helped distract the tribe. Regardless, we had better pitching, and our hitting came alive.

OK here's what I am going to call:

1: Boston
2. AZ
3. AZ
4. AZ
5. Boston
6. AZ

The time off let the D'backs cool down from their streak giving the RS the first game.

I'll go out on a limb here, but I don't think the D'backs will win a single game in this World Series.

But I know what you mean, and I agree with you. Maybe losing the World Series in dramatic fashion will make the Red Sox fans act more like Red Sox fans again. Lately, they've been acting like Yankees fans who can't find their R's.

i'm thinking the 8 day down time will be against the dbs. they had some really good momentum when they were winning, but after their break, i have a feeling they have lost it.

I'll take that bet. Hell, I'll offer you a 50:3 payout on the Kansas City Royals winning the World Series. No cap on your bet size either.

I think he's really talking about Defensive Backs. The way the Patriots are playing, I wouldn't be suprised if they end up winning the World Series and the NBA Championship also!

The MLB World Series, or the besson3c World Series? If the latter, I will mop the floor with your 50:3 payout and take all of your monies so bad!

Would you like to be GM of one of my teams? It only requires a nominal fee, and that you wear a special GM hat that looks like the following:

(except you can put it on your head)

Sure. I want to be GM of the Mets. I require a $5 million salary.

Also, can we exclude the Red Sox from ever participating in the besson3c World Series?

Well, game 1 goes to The Sox in a blowout. I sure hope we see some competition in game 2. World Series baseball is supposed to be better than this.

I'll be in Boston tonight! Game 2 and my g/f 21st birthday!

Hopefully the Rockies can muster some opposition tonight against the molten lava bats of the Sox

Hmm, the shortest path to the end of Sox baseball for the year is now for them to win the World Series. What an interesting predicament.

Her brother lives in Cambridge and knows the area far better than I. I suspect we'll be near Fenway at some point.

So, I guess my answer is...I have no idea!

Well if you're going to the game I think it's pretty safe to assume that you'll be near Fenway at some point during the night.

I don't know the Fenway area bars all that well, but if you go to Boston Beer Works they have some really good beers (they brew their own) as well as some really good food. You probably have other dinner plans, but if you feel like a snack I highly recommend Boston Beer Works shark skewers. Freakin' delicious.

All the bars will be packed though, so have fun with that. Now I'm off to hit a bar not too far from there as well. Going to the Pour House on Boyleston for Blogtoberfest.
