Perhaps it's just me, but have the movie executives run out of ideas? I think it's sad when I really look forward to Harry Potter... and I don't even like warlocks... or whatever he is.

Uwe Boll is my idol.
Seriously, how does this man get venture capital to 1.) pick up the rights to make movies based on second tier and forgotten video game series, and 2.) film them? (Or is he some insane, wealthy guy who finances these movies on his own?)

Yep. Note that all actors with recognizable names in Uwe Boll movies are has-beens in need of work.

That kind of depresses me. Sir Ben Kingsley is just one of the most instensive and authentic actors of our time.

Doesn't seem like that for Ben Kinsley, what makes it a lot mor confusing to me.
For emphasis: Ben Kingsley is a superb actor! I don't want him in an Uwe Boll movie…

Wasn't the other Bloodrayne thread good enough?
I think this should be yet another "let's go see a movie that's fun but doesn't take a lot of mental energy to enjoy" movie. Nothing wrong with that.
