I'm looking for a Stickies alternative that's not too complex and feature rich. Really, I want notes that can stay off screen unless you move mouse to the side. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Have you tried using Stickies in Dashboard?

I'm not sure I see the problem. Enable Dashboard and only use the Stickies widget. You can have as many occurrences as you like.

i'm using k-notes widget (yeah, i know...dashboard).
much better than apple's (so-far) disappointing stickies widget.

otherwise....check versiontracker.com.

lots of options to explore...

sidenote is perfect for that. you can find it at MacUpdate, or Google it. It's a great little app.
