Got it for xmas after not having had one for 6 months, opened it and used it for 2 weeks, hard drive went defective, sent it into apple and just got a second <b><i><u>brand new (read: not the same defective one nor a reconditioned unit)</b></i></u> from FedEx today. However, I decided I don't need an iPod (right now, anyway) and would rather pay for 1/2 a plane ticket to Europe, so, it's for sale. Comes with all accessories that it came with including the box. This unit will be covered under apple's warranty starting the January 25, the day I got the replacement.
$399 at the apple store...$350 shipped to your door.

and check your facts before you make claims, the warranty is still based off the purchase date of the original iPod, not the replacement iPod that Apple issued you. i know this for a fact through my own personal experience with a replacement iPod.
way to mention the engraving, by the way...

You're right, my name is engraved. With my old ipod when they issued me a replacement, which the warranty was extended from the date of receipt of the replacement, they didnt re-engrave it. I didn't notice until you pointed it out.
Clearly, you're not interested. I'll sell it somewhere with people actually worthwhile.
