My secondary drive stopped mounting yesterday. I was trying to copy file to it and FInder told me the name was too long so I rebooted, now drive will not mount. Tried repairing with TechTool and Disk First Aid. Will repair, but Disk First Aid will still not mount. It has been about two weeks since I finally upgraded to 10.5 from 10.4 Any suggestions?

This seems to be Apple Tech Support's answer too. Funny they can't fix it. Any chance there is a trial version out there? I just shelled out a bunch of money on various hardware and the upgrade. I know the utility has a bunch of features, but shelling out $100 for a directory repair is a bit much.

Stopped by Apple Store today with drive. They were able to resurrect with DiskWarrior on their machine. I am grateful to them. Thanks for the recommendation! Now I just need to move to external drive and do a fresh format once I get home tonight. No big deal!

What did they charge you for the service?
