I want to get some high quality screen captures from a DVD. Can anyone recommend a good way to do this? The Apple DVD app won't allow me to grab a screenshot while it is running.

Anyone have any ideas?

SnapzX is pretty good and you could theoretically take a movie of the movie... hehe.

Nice sig mishap, Ive always been a fan of good pixel fonts. Thats one of the 04 fonts if Im not mistaken... Either the one with the little creatures or 16...

I think VLC either has a built in screen capture tool, or I used the built in OS X screen captures with VLC. I know that's how I grabbed a still from the Star Wars 2 DVD.

Thanks...

Yeah, you have to be a fan of pixel fonts with web or screen design! They're the best for fitting information in very tight spaces that need to be readable.

This one is an old reliable one called Mini 7. The difference between this one and the hundreds of other pixel fonts is that it has many different weights, extended, and compressed versions. Been using it for about 6 or more years now... almost as reliable as Helvetica
