NeXT's OpenStep up and running on a MacBook Pro by way of Parallels Virtualization software.

The father OS inside the child OS. Full circle, etc. :-)

That's pretty cool. I don't know how useful it is, but it's cool nonetheless. We finally found a valid reason to defect to Intel. On a serious note, it's neat that OpenStep had a setup assistant with Welcome in multiple languages. And Terminal seems essentially the same as it was. Apple continues to bring things over from OpenStep even now, it seems - Tiger finally brought us a built-in dictionary like the one OS had.

"Things" like the entire underlying OS, frameworks, development suite, etc?
