Hi,

I am really new in the Mac world
getting my first apple computer tomorrow.

I worked a bit the last couple of months
on a desktop g4 and played with applescript and omnigraffle.

I am interested in controlling a presentation in keynote through apple script. Is it possible? I would like to be able to hide/show objects/animations and also (if possible) send events from the slideshow (like the movement of the mouse) to the applescript for further handling.

Is this thing feasible?

Thanks in advance!

Hahaha. Good one.

Keynote has one of the weakest AppleScript dictionaries of any Apple-branded app, and that's saying something.

Apple should be ashamed of themselves on that one.

You might hack your way there with GUI Scripting, but it's a poor substitute for the real thing.
