Hi,

I have an 23'' Apple Cinema display and was thinking whether is feasible
to connect it to an HDTV receiver (using the DVI output of it). Has anyone done
this before?

Hi,
Actually someone lent it to me and I have not used it, since I am missing an ADC to DVI adapter
(it is an older one).

I have a 23" Alu Cinema Display. I absolutely love the thing.

In regards to connecting an HDTV receiver, you'll need something like the Elgato EyeTV 500.
