Let's hope we see a bit of downward pressure on contract deals now. I pay the O2 £35 tariff - I recently signed my son up to a VIrgin Mobile deal which for £19 per month gives you unlimited SMS and data, unlimited calls to other VM phones and a load of other call time which I couldn't possibly use (i.e. £19 for unlimited everything, in practice).

Vodafone UK will have it soon too - Apple iPhone 3GS - Vodafone

I do hope this brings the prices down.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

These are happening in the UK because O2's exclusive contract is over now. Whats happening in America with AT&T, is their exclusive contract over soon?

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

This is great news. Competition may find some (slightly) cheaper iPhone deals at long last.
