OMG i am going frakkin insane.
How do you change the preferred app for an internet protocol?
I use several secondlife clients. The one i prefer is "snowglobe" but whenever i open SLURLs in a browser (protocol: "secondlife") it opens Second Life.app instead of snowglobe.app.
Such a url looks like: secondlife:///app/group/<SL key for group goes here>/about
But HOW THE FRAKKIN HELL DO YOU CHANGE YOUR HELPER APPS IN OS X?
Back in Mac OS 9 it was a simple matter of going to your preferences. What the hell happened to frakkin' simplicity? Why did they ruin the Mac with the garbage known as OS X?

Incidentally... this atrocity affects you if you use FTP as well. Since opening a url like FTP://ftp.osxisshite.com/ ought to launch Fetch but Transmission opens. Ugh!
