Looking to put a second NIC in a Dual 2ghz G5 that only has PCI-X slots.. I find there are NICs out there, but does anyone know which chipsets OS X will support on a PCI-X based NIC, if any?

Would've been nice for Apple to leave at least one standard PCI slot in there...

PCI X slots are backward compatible.

I think the NICs I have must be some different voltage or frequency.. becuase they just simply won't fit in the PCI-X slots.. I'll have to go out and get a normal, modern, 33mhz PCI NIC and see how that fits.

This should provide some info
It talks a lot about PCI-X 2.0, but information pertaining to the PCI-X slots used in the PMG5 is on the page also...
