Nice job. There is a level of artistry in this theme that is quite rare (even if it is a port, its an artful port at least). A blue variant sounds intriguing as well!
Maybe I missed something, but why is there still a gradient on the right side of metal windows? It totally throws me off everytime I see it. Will this be fixed?

Great update!
BTW, the clear menubar variation seems to suffer of the same problem with the menu extras (the clock, internet, etc.) of a previous version, as they have a different highlight than the one of normal menus.

If I did do it, I'd only be removing the brushed look and using ashen buttons. And thats not at all pretty
