Why is it that almost every time someone uses a computer on a TV show, it's a Mac, but you never see the Apple logo? Does Apple tell the TV studios to not show it's logo on TV? Is there some sort of rule saying that no corporate logos can be on TV? Why is it that nobody ever shows the Apple logo on TV shows even though the iMac is sitting right there on the screen?

Sometimes you do see the logo. I think in cases like that Apple has paid for promotional consideration. In cases where the logo is taped over, Apple has not paid and the producers don't want to give free advertisement. To tell you the truth, I don't know why the producers would tape over the logo anyway. It's not like some people don't know what an iMac or a Powerbook looks like!
