an ATI 9200? Is there a big difference that would prevent me from playing games if I have the Nvidia? I don't know how far video cards have come in last year or so.

Neither the 9200 nor the 4mx are that good at games, but the 4mx is a really old card in comparison, especially a 420. I'd say you'd at least want a 9600 especially if you go above 1024x768.
