I just bought a new mac and have a ZiO compact flash card reader (USB) that I want to run on 10.2 but I can't download the driver. http://www.microtechint.com/downloads is gone. I checked out version tracker and they link to the same site. Am I missing something? Did they go out of business? I downloaded the file before several months ago.

They became Dazzle, but another company bought that and promised driver support "in the future." Have you tried just connecting the Zio? Mine worked in 10.2.6 without any driver needed.

I have a Zio compact flash USB reader device. It only worked under 10.2.x with the addition of a driver that I found on the zio web site way back. After upgrading to Panther I can't seem to use it at all... I found what purports to be a driver for it but either it isn't the same one or Panther has changed something.

I had the same one.

Do yourself a favor and just get a new card reader. I got a USB2.0 6-in-1 card reader for $25 bucks. I'm sure you could get a just compact flash reader USB1 for like 10 bucks somewhere.

Of note, I followed the link posted by nbnz and installed the file on my emac running Panther (10.3) retail and now my ZiO! compact flash reader DOES WORK!

I was previously unable to get it to mount WITHOUT the driver.
